Hello, I’m Pam.
I’m a person-centred counsellor supporting adults who are navigating grief, identity shifts and significant life changes.
I offer a warm, calm and non-judgemental space where you can talk openly about what’s really going on for you, at your own pace.
My Experience
I bring over 20 years of combined experience across education, social care and counselling. Throughout my career, I’ve supported people through a wide range of emotional challenges and life transitions and I understand how overwhelming it can feel when something in life shifts and you’re left trying to find your feet again.
My background has given me a deep appreciation of how our experiences, relationships and environments shape the way we see ourselves and move through the world.

My Specialism
Grief in its many forms
When people hear the word grief, they often think only of bereavement. While I do support clients through the loss of loved ones, my work also recognises that grief can show up in many different ways.
Grief can be connected to:
- the end of a relationship or marriage
- loss of identity or sense of self
- major life transitions
- missed opportunities or life changes
- feeling disconnected from who you once were
- receiving a later-in-life autism or ADHD diagnosis
Change and loss are often closely linked, even when the change is something you chose. Together, we can gently explore what may feel lost, uncertain or unsettled and work towards greater understanding and acceptance.
How I Work
My approach is person-centred, which means our work is led by you and what feels most important in your world.
I aim to offer a space where you can:
- feel heard without judgement
- explore your thoughts and emotions safely
- make sense of difficult experiences
- reconnect with your needs and identity
- build self-acceptance and self-understanding
I understand that many adults come to counselling feeling disconnected, overwhelmed or stuck in patterns such as people-pleasing or self-doubt. Therapy can be a place to gently unpack these patterns and begin to move forward in a way that feels more aligned with who you are.
Supporting Neurodivergent Adults
I have a particular interest in supporting adults who are exploring or have recently received an autism or ADHD diagnosis.
For many people, this can bring a mixture of relief, confusion, grief and self-reflection. You may be re-evaluating past experiences, relationships or your sense of identity. Our work together can provide a steady, understanding space to process this at your own pace.
